Every fee in its place
Transaction, processing, listing, ads, shipping labels and more, each in its own account for tax time.
Payouts match your bank
Each payout is a transfer to your bank, matched to the deposit. Your sales are never counted twice.
Sales tax handled
Tax Etsy collects and pays for you passes through. It's never your income, or on your own return.
How it works
Simple from start to finish
- 1
Set up your shop in Sales & Get Paid › Etsy shop: TallyPip adds the accounts it needs.
- 2
On Etsy, download your monthly statement (Finances › Monthly statements › Download CSV).
- 3
Bring it into TallyPip: check the preview, then press Bring it in. A month brought in twice adds nothing.
- 4
Match each Etsy deposit in your bank feed to its payout with one click.
Also included
- One summary per payoutOpen a payout to see every sale, fee and refund in it, from Etsy's own statement.
- In the right monthSales and fees land in the month they happened, even when the payout comes later.
- More than one shopUp to 10 Etsy shops in one business, each with its own Etsy balance.
- Your accounts, your waySend any kind of Etsy activity to the account you prefer; the summaries update.
Questions
Does it cost extra?
No. The Etsy shop tools are part of the one TallyPip plan.
Will my Etsy sales be counted twice when my bank feed shows the deposit?
No. Each payout is recorded as a transfer from your Etsy balance to your bank, and the deposit in your bank feed is matched to it, so your income is counted once.
What about the sales tax Etsy collects?
Etsy collects it from buyers and pays it itself. TallyPip passes it through a clearing account, so it never shows as your income and never lands on your own sales tax report.
Can I connect my Etsy shop instead of downloading statements?
Today you bring in Etsy's monthly statement, which takes a minute a month. A direct connection is in the works.
How far back can I go?
As far back as Etsy's monthly statements go: bring in each month you want in your books.
